Above is the moldboard for the animatic. Below is a working script for the project, but it is subject to change.

When you picture the “perfect lawn,” you probably picture something like this, right?
(green lawn slides down into frame)
It’s perfectly manicured, bright green and...a major contributor to runoff and nutrient pollution?
(evil face on lawn) (bounce away to picture of watershed)
One of the biggest problems impacting bodies of water is nutrient pollution, where excess nitrogen and phosphorus in the water ( particles bobbing in water) leads to algal blooms that deplete oxygen, harming wildlife (dead fish) and toxifying drinking water. And one of the sources of this phosphorus and nitrogen? Your perfect lawn. (dramatic lawn) (dirt/fertiliser landing on grass)
The fertiliser used to get that perfect green can lead to deadly super blooms once it washes into the watershed. There are a few steps that you can take to make sure your lawn isn’t part of the problem.
(crossing out bag of fertiliser) First, try using less fertiliser and fewer chemical herbicides and pesticides. You might not be able to get that HOA-green, but it reduces the amount of nutrient pollutants.
(garden hose) There are also ways you can prevent runoff. An easy first step is watering your lawn less and saving any clippings after mowing.
One of the best steps you can take, though, is ditching that green carpet and spicing things up with a little ~native biodiversity~ (text on screen) and planting a rain garden. (plants start popping up) Create a green filter of native, drought tolerant trees and shrubs that will act as a buffer for runoff in your yard. Their roots will prevent erosion and they can filter toxic substances from runoff. Native plants will also require less fertiliser and maintenance. So perhaps the perfect lawn looks less like this (green lawn) and more like this! (lawn with shrubs, grasses, trees)
